Overview 1–17

The Readers use a visible laser diode. As with any bright light

source, such as the sun, you should avoid staring directly into the

beam. Momentary exposure to a CDRH Class II laser product is not

known to be harmful.

The following shows the location of all safety labels as they appear

on the Reader.

ATTENTION: Use of controls, adjustments, or

procedures other than those specified herein may

result in hazardous laser light exposure.
